By creating an account or using Neverworld Grid (“the Grid”), the account holder (“Member”) agrees to the following terms:

Experimental Software & Data Disclaimer
OpenSimulator is experimental software. Even relatively stable versions can experience glitches, outages, or issues involving third-party software. While we make every reasonable effort to preserve data, there is no guarantee against loss of content or data. We strongly recommend that you download and back up any creations you wish to retain permanently to your own storage (hard drive, cloud storage, etc.).
Conduct Toward Other Members
Members must treat other avatars with respect. Harassment, stalking, or griefing may result in temporary or permanent banning from the Grid.
Content, Licensing & Sharing
Members are expected to be familiar with Creative Commons licensing and to respect original creators’ permissions when copying content. Neverworld is a sharing-oriented grid. If you do not wish your creations to be shared, the most effective protection is to place them in group-only or closed-to-public regions.
Contributions to Grid Builds & Features
Your personal creations remain yours. You retain full rights to create, copy, export, save, back up, and otherwise use them as you see fit.
When you contribute content (or components of content) to official Grid features or Grid builds, you may freely back up and copy the work while it is still in production. Once the contribution has been installed and becomes part of a Grid feature or Grid build, it is considered a permanent contribution to the Grid and is attributed to the Grid. Requests to remove or reclaim such contributions will not be entertained if your status on the Grid later changes.
OAR / IAR Requests
OARs or IARs may be produced upon request. Depending on frequency of requests and file size, a fee may apply. Any fee will be disclosed and agreed upon before production.
Free Sim / Parcel Rentals
We offer many free rental regions on our continent and in other areas.
Terraforming is not allowed on Free Sim Rentals.
Continent regions are leased with the expectation of development for private and/or public use. Simply placing a prim box for “ownership” does not constitute development. A sim used solely as a private home does not comply with continent leasing policy, so Ban Lines are prohibited.
Sim splitters or boxes are not permitted on ground level, as they detract from the look and feel of the area.
Inactive members (no login for 60 days) may have their free property lease terminated.
Paid Rentals
We will create your sim as promptly as possible, usually upon receipt of payment, and will make every reasonable effort to place it in your requested location.
This is a growing grid; neighbors may appear where none previously existed. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable relocation requests, but we cannot honor frequent move requests.
Cancellation takes effect immediately. We recommend canceling just before the next quarterly payment is due if you wish to avoid further charges.
Grid administrators reserve the right to visit your sim from time to time for technical or operational reasons.
Recruitment & Public Comments
Recruiting current Neverworld members to other OpenSimulator grids is not permitted and may result in a ban. Negative posts or comments about Neverworld Grid on social media may result in permanent banning.
Inactive Accounts
Inactive accounts may be deleted from time to time. Deletion permanently removes the entire inventory. Failure to log in may result in account deletion.
Gross Misconduct
Gross misconduct may result in account deletion at the sole discretion of management.
Administrators & Mentors
Friendly administrators and mentors are available to assist Members. Please treat them with respect and cooperate with their requests.
Neverworld Marketplace
Use of the Marketplace is restricted to adults. By using the Marketplace you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
Intellectual Property Neverworld Grid does not condone the use of improperly procured intellectual property. Members are expected to respect the intellectual property rights of others and to create original content. We offer free assistance with content creation using Blender and other applications to support this goal. We encourage all Members to respect IP, create their own original works, and utilize the Neverworld Marketplace and in-world shopping for original content.
Update Clause
We reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will become effective upon posting the revised Terms on the Grid or on our official website/communication channels. Continued use of Neverworld Grid after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is the Member’s responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
