We love free land... we hate greed... we hate not having a place to set home.

Our motto is "Where Builders Come to Live". How true!

Below: Public Rez area for anyone who wants to use the water. There are even watercraft that you can use yourself.

Newest hot spot is Luxury Estates in Francos Place. Here we encourage you to build big.  Our parcels are set for mansion sized houses with a generous prim limit of 5000 per parcel. That is enough for your palatial (palace, modern glass house, rustic large hideaway) place with room for furniture, plantings and of course outdoor hardscaping and hot tubs. Come over !  We love neighbors!

Plots are mostly flat with a small amount waterfront. All have additional lush landscaping and the roads are interconnected of course to  our million plus meters of continent roads.

Below: A waterfront parcel.  Its 6800 meters and 5000 prim limit so live your dream life here.

What else is here? We have some quality shops, including a hair salon, Grand Furnishings, a pub, bakery and PT designs.

If you don't like what there is here, we have a ton of other shops and malls.

Have you been to Lonely Mist yet in Bountiful Continent?
This is a must see sim, the center is a perfect example of a quiet day on Bourbon street, if there is such a thing. Wander the center of town to find a ghost hunter store, voodoo shop, lounge, and a bordello among the shops in the area. You may even find some wandering moldy ghosts following you around...

Photo Left Overview of Bourbon Street
If you travel down the scented streets you will be greeted by some beautiful roomy homes that you can live in. (Free of course even if you don't call Neverworld your home -- yet).
These spacious homes are already landscaped and ready for your furniture and final touches. It is good to know that even though you live in a almost rural setting, that you can hop on your vehicle and travel anywhere on the continent via the road system or even by water. The continent is a community of people who have come together to live, with vast amounts of free parcels and mixed use areas including the amazing shopping sim All Free as well as farms, art galleries, clubs, and gardens.

Right: This opulent Southern mansion is rentable and right down the street from the NOLA hubbub.

“Louis found me in the rear parlor, the one more distant from the noises of the tourists in the Rue Royale, and with its windows open to the courtyard below. I was in fact looking out the window, looking for the cat again, though I didn't tell myself so, and observing how our bougainvillea had all but covered the high walls that enclosed us and kept us safe from the rest of the world. The wisteria was also fierce in its growth, even reaching out from the brick walls to the railing of the rear balcony and finding its way up to the roof. I could never quite take for granted the lush flowers of New Orleans. Anne Rice, Merrick
Fancy yourself living here? Imagine building a secret garden, with brick and moss walls and arbors, with creeping ivy and the air filled with the scent of wisteria. In addition to the beautiful cobbled streets you will also find public gardens and the church with its churchyard with some of it's past residents who repose in the balmy air. And you will also see the somewhat rusty but still servicible trolley about town also.
Below: some bayou areas outside of the main part of NOLA.

Lonely Mist was created by the Neverworld Grid Builders with special help and thanks to Morgant Whalen for her development of the surrounding area as a typical Louisiana neighborhood, ready for your special touches to call this area home.

Hop here hop://hg.neverworldgrid.com:8002/Lonely Mist/170/250/24. The theme continues with Steam Sky, a steampunk inspired sim that is currently being developed and will be featured on a future blog post.

UNDER THE RED SKY: LIVE IN VIRTUAL RECALL FOR FREE

Who has not seen Total Recall circa 1990? Were you amazed at the gritty, realistic depictions of what living in a closed settlement would be like? What would it feel like, to live "underground" or "behind glass" for your whole life. Forget about the air quality as we promise it will be good. Does the thought of living under glass with the red dust swirling in the background give you a touch of claustrophobia? Or does it seem to enfold you, like a warm fuzzy (albeit orangey) blanket?   Find your way to the Mars Hilton Reservations Office where you will find a wall with teleports to the different  apartment floors of the hotel.

Below: Start your journey at the Mars Hilton Reservation Office.

There you will find teleports to the various floors as well as rental boxes.

Below:  A living space in the model Apartment of the Mars Hilton

Here is your opportunity to test the waters of life on Mars.  Below is the bedroom area of the model apartment.

The apartments are very large but remember, you will not be able to go outside.

Recommend you bring some plants with you or you may go bonkers.

The Mars Hilton Hotel was created in our Virtual Recall sim and as most of our regions, we are offering free living space. In this case we have large spacious apartments with enclosed "balconies" with views of the Martian terrain.

Outside Views of the apartments.  The balconies are really just bay windows with a view.

Don't go outside unless you are wearing a spacesuit.

Below:  The Martian Sundeck gives you some UV rays.

You can use the hot tub, relax in the chaise loungers, and even check out the daily weather report.

And don't forget to visit the penthouse sun deck where you can bask in the hot tub or just hang and admire the red dust as it swirls past you over the dome. Be careful around the glass though, it can break!

The reservations office of the hotel is where you would go to rent an apartment there. Click on the apartment numbers to take you to the apartment, and with one click you can start your adventure living in Virtual Recall. You are free to decorate your apartment as you like. The area is quite opened, feel free to add more walls and furniture. You are free to set home here (if you are NW resident). While here there are several stores around the sim that have themed gifts, clothing, avatars and furniture.

At the entrance hallway to the apartment you will see a packet of textures and walls to complete your apartment.  The model apartment is set up with different rooms. An apartment to rent is open planned, you can add interior rooms as you wish with this packet, or keep it open and breezy.

On October 24th 2015 Neverworld was born. The midwife who assisted d in the delivery was Randall Flagg and  the mother was Govega Sachertorte.

That day, there were two residents on the grid and one region,  Welcome.

Govega started the build immediately and immediately she started to introduce a mega store of freebies on the welcome region. The next thought was to have free parcels.  So at the start, there were freebies and land for all residents.

Soon a sandbox was introduced, and then, the first serious build, Stilwater, a dystopian build with RP factions: Grubbies and Posh.

Govega created clothing and other gear for the factions. And of course, a freebies store,  "Gear Your Faction" was born.

This was the first varreregion to be created on the grid, and the idea from the start was to have most regions be a 512 sized region, rather than the standard. This was to reduce the amount of sim crossings as well as create a more cohesive experience.

After Stilwater the theme of pirates and water began to take over. The first mega varreregion on the grid was born,  named Neversea.

By this time,  friends had joined in to help build. Neversea was an enormous sailing region with islands and of course, some themed freebie shops surf boards, beach gear and swimsuits.  It was all about relaxing, having some activites like boating, and of course first and foremost building!

In 2016 more builders joined and the grid became known as a low key creators haven.  There was lots of room for everyone and there was very little drama.  It was just required that residents be happy, clean up after themselves, and be adults.    We were lucky to have very little drama on the grid, and very few rules. This was not, after all, work or school.  We were here to expand our creative horizons, learn, and to share time with friends and family.

We were joined by some great creators: Pasha Theas, Nexus Storm, Locked Semaphore, Andron Rae, those first few years,  and we all learned more as the months flew by. Then joined by Angelic and Roffellos Kisses. Though some came and went (and invariably came back too) these core residents became intergral in the creative growth of the grid.

We became a family.

We even attempted to do a very funny and feeling virtual Christmas Caroling, here is a screenshot and believe you me please dont listen to the voice. That is from 2018!
