Hello,
If you made a New Account and filled-in your Avatar information when you made the website account, you should already be linked! You can test this by logging-in to your website account and going to "Manage User Account" - you should see your avatar account info there. You can see your friends online and reset your in-world password on this screen.
If your account does not come up as indicated above, please let us know and we will link your in-world account to your website account.
